Cinephiles rejoice.
Festival circuit films that typically skip the major theatre chains are again being screened in Niagara-on-the-Lake, as the Shaw Festival Film Series returns.
Now in its 13th year, the series begins Dec. 23 at the Festival Theatre (10 Queen’s Parade).
The weekly screenings of celebrated films and documentaries continues until Feb. 17. All proceeds from this annual event benefit the Shaw Festival.
The feature films will screened every Saturday at 3 p.m. (doors open at 1:30 p.m.) until Feb. 17.

Gourmet eats will be available from Gooddine Catering before each Saturday screening.
Documentaries will be presented every Friday at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5 p.m.), starting Jan. 5 until Feb. 16.
