The Natural Broadcasting Company hasn’t done a Boneyard Man episode since writer Jayson McDonald moved to Vancouver a couple of years ago, but he’s coming back for a reunion, and Rachel Jones is coming back from Toronto to join Jeff Werkmeister and Jeff Culbert, with Scott Pinkerton on the keyboard. Over the next two weekends, we are going to do seven nights, with two different episodes per night, for a total of 14 distinct episodes (listed below).
Tickets are $20, with discounts for multiple shows.

THE BONEYARD MAN 19th ANNIVERSARY REUNION
DETAILED PROGRAM
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22:
“Villains and Vigilantes”
The Boneyard Man teams up and tussles with Gotham's various cartoony crime-fighters and criminals.
THE BLACK SPOT
The Bomb Gang is systematically blowing up huge chunks of New York. And if that isn’t enough to set The Boneyard Man on edge, a new homicidal, gun-toting vigilante called The Black Spot will surely make him pop! Will The Bomb Gang succeed in blowing Manhattan to rubble? Will Chief Fitzhenry throw in the towel as he loses control of his city? Has The Boneyard Man finally met his match with The Black Spot? The answer…maybe!
PONTOON MAN vs. THE AMAZING TRANSLUCENT MAN
The Boneyard Man is forced to team up with his hated rival, The Black Spot, in order to track down and subdue a pair of feisty new super-villains before they get their paws on the famous Huffington Garnet.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23:
“Sinister Seas”
A tide of terrifying criminal transgressions has LePage and Margery pining for solid ground.
THE CUT-RATE LUXURY CRUISE TO OBLIVION
LePage and Margery’s dreams of a romantic vacation at sea are cut short when the crew and passengers start dropping like flies. The Boneyard Man cleans the sick off his lapel and puts on his sea legs to ferret out a murderous mutineer!
THE REALLY GIGANTIC SHARK
A hulking predator is roaming the waters off the East Coast…rumoured to be a really gigantic shark capable of swallowing entire freighters. The Boneyard Man goes trawling for the leviathan…and ends up in the belly of the beast!
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24:
“Metafictional Mayhem”
The Natural Broadcasting Company weaves in and out of its own fictional milieu in a pair of episodes penned by a writer who thinks he's pretty clever.
BALLAD of BILL JOHNSON
Bill Johnson shows up to the studio one day and discovers he’s been replaced by a very unctuous, hip young announcer named Andreas Cartouche. Is Bill smooth enough to finesse his way back on to The Boneyard Man, or is he doomed forever to host “Uncle Willy’s Wee Wee Station”?
THE LOST EPISODE
Head writer Jayson McDonald regales announcer Bill Johnson with the tale of the greatest Boneyard Man adventure ever written – but never heard. Never heard that is, until now! Sort of!
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28:
“Gotham Guile”
Underhanded sleight-of-hand and dastardly deceptions have the Boneyard Man chasing shadows and rumours all over New York City.
THE PRESTIGIOUS PRESTIDIGITATOR
New York’s crime rate soars in direct proportion to the number of graduates cranked out of the new Zolmanginga School For The Magical Arts. LePage smells a rat…ope, no, it’s not a rat, it’s a bunny in a cage. Hey, who sawed that lady in half? Where’s my wallet? Hello?
NEW YORK NOIRE
Margery's insatiable desire to own every white elephant in the world has LePage following a trail of the dead in search of a fabled bit of terracotta bric-a-brac that really shouldn't be causing so much grief.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29:
“Troubled Teenagers”
Critical thinking and civic duty are seemingly beyond the capability of the youth of today.
HOT ROD HOOLIGANS
LePage trades in his well-pedicured fancy man foot for a brutish lead foot as he tries to keep up with a local street racing gang who may also be a gang of bank robbers. Well, there's really no “may also be” about it, they're clearly the bank robbers.
TAU KAPPA WEASEL
As unprecedented numbers of vermin choke the city, LePage goes undercover as a hip, swinging fraternity cat in order to bust a ring of weasel smugglers. This episode is on record for repeating the word “weasel” more times than any other half-hour in radio history, including that BBC documentary about weasels.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30:
“Backwoods Brouhaha”
Base and bloody barbarism thrives in the hills and forests, and LePage and Margery are not dressed for the proceedings.
WHO KNOWS WHO HOOTS
LePage and Margery settle into a dark, secluded cottage for the weekend, unaware that somewhere in the woods lurks a bizarre, murderous ghost that whacks people to death with chunks of wood.
KILLING COUSINS
LePage and Margery find themselves lost in backwoods America, where dysfunctional families are the rule, and murder and mayhem are the daily routine! A buck-toothed adventure in the traditional inbred Boneyard style!
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 01:
“Melodramatic Murder”
Road and Cranbrook go off-book in pursuit of award-winning murderers of stage and screen.
BOX OFFICE POISON
LePage and Margery, New York’s most celebrated amateur detectives, find themselves the subjects of a tell-all documentary about their methods and their madness as they investigate a murder on a movie set.
MURDER IN TWO ACTS
Margery’s amateur dramatic guild is putting on a play with the help of their friend…LePage “Centre Stage” Cranbrook. But with the incoming of a new leading man comes the outgoing of an old leading man…and a wounded ego is the most dangerous beast of the Two-Act Jungle!
