Stage Door News
Heartbreak and horoscopes. Books unread and words unspoken.
Kat’s life is in disarray. As she attempts to pick up the pieces, she must confront the memories that have hurt her most, and the people that she’s hurt in return, all from the safety of her bathtub.
MyEntertainmentWorld’s 2017 Emerging Artist winner Filament Incubator proudly presents a moving new script by Halfway Home Collective’s Becky Tanton. Directed by Andrew Markowiak (Filament co-founder, writer/director of Lemon) and Laura Darby (Grab ‘Em by the P****, Crux, She Kills Monsters), and designed by Logan Cracknell (Silk Bath, Deceitful Above All Things, Madeleine Says Sorry) and Deanna Choi (Deceiptful Above All Things, Paradise Comics, Pearle Harbour’s Chautauqua), how to drown gracefully blends poetry with a biting prognosis of love and loneliness in the modern day and invites you into Kat’s bathroom as she fights to keep her head above water.
