RONDEAU is a provincial park in southwestern Ontario, and the spiritual setting for this 1970s-style Rock Musical.
The story begins...
A father and son fight on the eve of a big concert the son, Ronnie, is to attend. Dad is a drunk and his son is a chip off the ol’ block. “F#*k you dad. I’m not coming home and I’m going to kill myself at the concert”
With that, Ronnie and his ol’ buddy Trip embark on a Marshall-stacked, acid-fuelled odyssey of May two-four mayhem. Ronnie’s looking for Rondeau’s bush party paradise but he’s lost in a world of campfire freakouts.
