Today is the first day that you may purchase tickets for any of our summer shows without having to purchase a subscription. You will find all our 2018 shows are now available on line. If you would still like to get a subscription please let us know, it is not too late. This is still the best price for buying tickets!
We have extended our run for Tales Of An Urban Indian. Due to popular demand, this unique theatre experience will now run from April 16th-28th, which means we are offering 16 performances of this play! If you have not ordered tickets yet I highly encourage you to do so. This play will be performed on a Town of Collingwood bus. We have some Probus Groups that have bought out whole buses! Thank you for that and please consider doing this if you are in another Probus group. To clear up any questions: NO, the bus will not be open to the public or on a regular route.
Ticket holders will meet at the front of the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts (near The Gayety Theatre). The bus does not have a washroom so you are encouraged to use the BMFA washrooms before you board the bus. The play will be approximately 90 minutes long with no breaks. It is all performed in the bus. We are delighted to announce that the very talented Craig Lauzon will be performing this show. Craig is an actor, writer, comedian and member of the comedy troupe the Royal Canadian Air Farce. The play is about an indigenous man who was raised on a reserve and in Vancouver. It is very touching but also very funny at times.
