The Velocity of Autumn by Eric Coble opens May 3 at the KW Little Theatre in Waterloo: A wickedly funny and touching discovery of the fragility and ferocity of life.
Alexandra is a senior who refuses to go gently into that good night. She's in a showdown with her adult children who want her to move to a retirement facility. In her corner: her wit, passion and the fact she has barricaded herself in her Brooklyn brownstone with enough Molotov cocktails to take out the block. But her children have a secret weapon: estranged son Chris, who returns after 20 years, crawls through his mother's second story window, and becomes the family's unlikely mediator.
