The nominations for the 2018 Drama Desk Awards were announced April 25 by Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt duo Jane Krakowski and Tituss Burgess.
The 63rd annual ceremony, where the winners will be announced, will take place June 3 at Town Hall; Michael Urie returns to host.
Leading the pack this year were three Broadway musicals—the revival of Carousel with 12 nominations, SpongeBob SquarePants with 11, and Mean Girls with 10.
The Canadian musical “Old Stock: A Refugee Love Story” received six nominations including Outstanding Musical. The musical is part of Toronto’s Tarragon Theatre’s 2018/19 season.
